Healthy Paws has been great for us and our dog! Their online system is easy to use and all claims are processed very quickly - usually within a couple of days. It's clear what is/isn't covered and using them has given us peace of mind to get our pup the care she needs, including making it much less stressful when we decided to get her a knee surgery that she very much needed. We're very happy with our choice in Healthy Paws.

I have a 2.5 year old American Bully…

I have a 2.5 year old American Bully Mix. I recused his mom when she was dumped in the park pregnant. My boy Kong had a seizure in my yard a motor seizure that turned into a Grand Mal. It lasted several minutes . When taking to the vet to see what we do & what happened we did blood , urine , spinal tap , & MRI. With out having a trusted insurance plan, tough decision have to be made. Knowing i was covered made all the difference in the world. GET HEALTH PAW Insurance and keep yopu pets safe and health !

Health Paws INS Review

My senior dog is a Calamity Jane

My senior dog is a Calamity Jane and managed to tear her CCL and fracture her jaw within weeks of each other. I had to find specialty care for both issues -- an orthopedic surgeon and a dental surgeon -- in a very high cost-of-living city. I was able to cover the expensive surgeries for both issues thanks to Healthy Paws. The company paid out reimbursement within a few days, in time for me to pay off my credit card. I'm so glad I didn't have to choose which surgery to do. My dog is in recovery and feeling much better now!

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
