Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

My puppy was able to get the medical care she needed for her UTI because I had Healthy Paws pet insurance. They are very fast with their claims reimbursements and they keep me informed by email when they are processing the claim and then an explanation of benefits once it is completed. It is super easy, convenient and takes the uncertainty out of the process. Their customer service is excellent.

We are absolutely thrilled with the service we receive from Healthy Paws! Our little beagle has been quite a handful, especially this past month where we've had 2 emergency visits and several follow up vet visits. We submitted our claims to Healthy Paws and received confirmation of processing and completion within a day of submitting! And the check followed shortly afterwards. We then received a follow up inquiry from the Customer Care & Claims Manager just to follow up and make sure our puppy recovered from her tummy issues! Best care all around and we're so happy we had Healthy Paws to help us through it all.

My 4.5-month-old Cockapoo Bailey accidentally swallowed a pill at his Grandpas house and was rushed to the emergency clinic and ended up being admitted for a 2-day hospital stay. This was my first claim and I expected it to take awhile to process. I submitted the claim and received a response within days. The coverage was true to the policy and I am thrilled with my decision to choose Healthy Paws! They were very kind in their correspondence and inquired about Baileys well being. I know I have the Cadillac of coverage for him!

We decided to get pet insurance when we adopted our 3 month old puppy, Barkley. Friends and family laughed at me.But, did you know puppies put their heads into everything-caused a $500 eye infection. You should have seen Healthy Paws in action, ouro first claim handled beautifully. Then, Barkley was diagnosed at 8 months with hip displaysia, very unusual for a puppy.While the policy only covered this once after 1 year, I was amazed it covered it at all (most don't). Subsequent to the surgery, Barkley got a serious urinary track infection and has been to the ER twice and Hospitalized once, then to our local vet because he stopped eating and drinking. Again, Healthy Paws customer service and concern for Barkley has been fantastic. Quick response time and Healthy Paws does what they say they will do, and cover exactly what you would expect. We are hoping that this is the last of any major expenses for such a young pup, but now my family and friends are looking at Healthy Paws for their pets!

My dog, Benji, came down wand with severe gastroenteritis. He spent two nights at the pet hospital which proved quite costly. Thanks for the pet insurance the expense became minimal.
