Used to be a great insurance, not anymore
I’ve been a customer for more than 7 years. They used to have the best premium and customer service. I understand the increase in premium( my dog is not getting any younger) , but they started to give me a hard time with claims. They refuse to cover medically nessesary tests even after I provide notes from the vet. If I submit a claim once a year, no matter what is in there, they refuse to cover because they look at it as a wellenes exam. They don't read any medical records. Also, their customer service went down dramatically. People answering the phone sound like they just woke up and can barely talk. There is no way to trarck the appeals other than call them, but the only thing that would tell you is just to wait for an email which is always a script. I am now looking for a different company for my dog’s insurance. Hope they will at least have a better customer service.

Brittany - We’re sorry for your frustration during the processing of your claim. As you stated in your review, medical records had been sent, but our customer care team inadvertently missed those being in the previous Healthy Paws account you had canceled, not in your current account. Now that we have those records, your claims has been opened for processing.
