Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Healthy paws has allowed me to provide care for my dog that I wouldn't be able to on my own. below is an email I sent to healthy paws after I had to get multiple exams and X-rays for my dog. Good afternoon, I am not writing you today with any questions or complaints. This email to you is just to say thank you. Because of this company, I am able to give my dog the care that she deserves, but I could never afford. I never foresaw any of these medical problems she has today, and with every claim I file, I think in the back of my head, will they accept it? Are they going to find a reason to drop me? And every time I get the email saying my claim has been completed, I am reminded of how great you guys are. So again, thank you for your continued support. My cat Clover became very ill last year. To date, her care has cost around $20,000. Healthy Paws has been great. They have covered 90% of everything except for the cost of the check/up visit, which runs around $150. Her condition will require constant monitoring that runs $500-1K per quarter for the rest of her life and 90% is totally covered. I could never have afforded her care without Healthy paws -- it saved her life.

Thank you Healthy Paws!!!! Our 1 yr old pup was suffering from some sort of tummy pain (later determined as HGE).. Was not eating well for a couple of days, before starting to throw up blood... We had to rush her into emergency as our regular vet had a power outage. The bill estimate came out to me more than $1.5k. If I did not have HP, I would have struggled to make the payment. We had our dog in emergency care for a day and medication the past week and she has recovered great! I used the Healthy Paws app to submit the claims (super easy!), and within 2 days, all claims were completed. Other than helping me give my pup the best care required, they also sent me a follow up email to ensure she was doing good. This is what customer service should be all about. I signed up for Healthy Paws 2 years ago at a friend's recommendation. He had been through a claims process and said it was easy. I needed insurance so I thought, why not? Boy am I glad I did! Recently we had to use our insurance for my dog's broken tooth. The claim was processed within a few days. As it was the first claim, it required his medical records but his dr's office faxed it directly with no issues. I'm expecting a check any day in the mail. Pain free and seamless. Healthy Paws even emailed to check in on my dog! I am highly impressed.

My Jack Russell terrier Riley was attacked by a Rottweiler (it wasn't a fair fight) in an RV park in Cottonwood, AZ. We were referred to Tumbleweed Vet Clinic, who were wonderful.Just as wonderful was my experience with Healthy Paws. Everyone was friendly, sympathetic, and very helpful, going out of their way to make sure the trauma over my dog's injuries was not compounded by the usual hassles one experiences with insurance companies.
