Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

My year old Labrador was diagnosed with bilateral bone chips in his elbows. Healthy Paws made the process easy and care free, and were truly a joy to deal with. After receiving the check to cover the surgery I then received an email checking in on the well being of my dog. If you are looking for a Pet Insurance company Healthy Paws is the only way to go!

My German Shepherd, Carly was diognosed with carcinoma about two months ago. She had surgery to remove a tumor from her jaw and began a series of 16 radiation treatments shortly after. Our next step will be chemotherapy. Healthy Paws has been amazing. I honestly don't know how we'd get through this process without them. I can't say enough about this company.

My husband and I were a bit uncertain about whether or not pet isurance would be worth having but since our first claim, they've been quick to respond and reimburse and have gone above and beyond with kind messages and tracking down missing paperwork. We couldn't be happier!

Long story short, our mini golden doodle, Leni, had to have emergency stomach surgery for eating some toys that got stuck in her intestinal track. We thought the first surgery went ok, but learned quickly she was not quite right....and it took TWO more surgeries to get finally make her better. In total, it was about a months worth of time for poor Leni, and you can imagine that the hospital bills stacked up....$21,500 worth of stacked up. Fortunately, we only had to pay $4500 of it. I can honestly say that if it weren't for Healthy Paws, Leni would not be here right now. Everyone I talked to over there was always so kind, caring, and overall amazing through the whole process. They were able on several occasions talk to the vet directly regarding treatments and payments. They even were able to expedite the payment process so we did not have to pay interest on our credit cards. We are so happy we had them to help us out, and love having our sweet girl back!!

Healthy Paws saved me from having to make a difficult decision on my pet, Dominic. He has arthritis in his right rear hip so he needed x-rays for that and then medicine that cost $90 per month, when I sent in the invoices, via on-line, they paid, no questions asked with a week. Recently he seemed to be getting worse and was always falling down and couldn't walk on his front right. We had to go to a neuro specialist and he diagnosed a herniated disc in his neck, which required major surgery. It would have cost me $5,700, but with the insurance reimbursement I paid 1030. Healthy Paws was and is always very sympathetic to me when I call about my boy. They treat me like family and totally understand about people wanting to take care of their pets, who call upset and worried. They don't ask questions, this last big bill was process and checks received with a week. Now that's customer service. I would highly recommend Healthy Paws insurance anyone with a beloved pet.
