Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Without Healthy Paws Insurance, my bull terrier puppy would have not lived past his 1st birthday. My puppy had an unfortunate situation, which is very common with most dogs- Foreign Body Removal. Unfortunately Neeko experienced every post op complication, and was required to stay in the ICU for over a week, one can only imagine how high my hospital bills were. Healthy paws reimbursed me within 2-5 days of my claim submittal. They were fast, efficient, and didn't reject anything. This was a huge relief and elephant off my back during such a vulnerable time. When my Levi got hit with a cancerous tumor, unregulated diabetes and overnight blindness (due to cataracts) all within a few short weeks, our family was at its wit's end. Easy Peasy, take a picture of the invoice, submit and it is all done! So grateful for having this insurance. And they care! How many insurance companies check to make sure your pet is ok??? I am so grateful that I signed up with healthy paws. I've had quite a few issues with my pets one being a very expensive surgery that I couldn't afford to pay the amount up front, and healthy paws did a direct pay for me to the hospital for the 90% reimbursement. I've never had any problems with reimbursement and they are very prompt in the return. When ever I've called always spoke to a live person not a recording. They are truly animal lovers.

My dog Luna had surgery to repair a torn ACL. HP covered 90% and are also covering physical therapy including acupuncture. I've spoken to the representatives a couple of times and they couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. They also sent a follow up letter checking on Luna's progress. I receive a certain peace of mind having insurance for my pets, I'm happy to pay and hope I never have to use it, however I worried that if I had to file a claim it would be a hassle and struggle to be reimbursed. I am extremely relieved and grateful that with Healthy Paws my concerns were unfounded. I'm very impressed.
