Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

My youngest dog has tested Healthy Paws thoroughly in just a year and a half. Twice she's needed unexpected surgery, and another time we had to rush to an emergency clinic. I had so much peace of mind knowing that cost wouldn't be a deciding factor in her treatment , that I could do whatever was required because I knew that Healthy Paws would come through with a major portion of the expense. And they did - each time - quickly and easily. I can submit a claim from my phone before I even leave the vet's office, and very soon the check is in my mailbox. (And I have used another insurance company with two previous dogs, and it was so much harder to get claims processed and they would inexplicably exclude things so I always worried about what would be covered.) I will certainly continue using and recommending Healthy Paws now.

I can't say enough about Healthy Paws they were there for us in our time of need and did not hesitate in paying claims. We Have a puppy Layla who first had a tick born illness (Anoplasma?) and then later decided to eat a metal paper clip that she was unable to pass on her own and needed surgery. These were both costly procedure (almost $3000) and Healthy Paws held up their end of the bargain and paid the claims within a couple weeks. Great Carrier and I highly recommend. Their claim process is so easy and they send reimbursement checks very fast. I will never be without Healthy Paws with my boy!

I have been a Healthy Paws customer for a couple years now and have not regretted it at all. I was skeptical to sign up because I'd hear nightmare stories about folks not getting claims reimbursed by other companies. I did my research and decided on Healthy Paws. The process to submit a claim is super easy and their customer service is outstanding and quick. They have implemented direct deposit so I get my reimbursement right in my account. Unfortunately, I have a young dog that is battling cancer and it has been very costly. I've not had to worry about that and just go with what is right for her because I know Healthy Paws will take care of their part. They have covered everything so far that I would expect them to. They are very clear on what is and isn't covered when you are signing up. The only reason I did not give them 10 stars is that sometimes the time it takes to review a claim can exceed a couple weeks. If you are thinking of getting pet insurance, I HIGHLY recommend them!
