Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I yelped pet insurance and found Healthy Paws to be rated the best as in customer satisfaction. I have had them almost 3yrs. Various claims quick no hassle reimbursement. Recently my Dachshund of just shy 3yrs had to have emergency back surgery. Healthy Paws has been wonderful in a very stressful situation. Thankfully thanks to their company I was able to have a top neuro vet perform a successful surgery. Dodger is doing extremely well. Thank you Healthy Paws!!!

Nala has had Healthy Paws coverage since she was a few months old. I wondered for years if I was just throwing my money away but then she turned 5 years old. In two years she's had a tooth extraction, urinary track infection, intestinal bacterial infection, and most recently a seizure episode! I would literally be over 10K in debt right now with vet bills if it wasn't for Healthy Paws. They are an absolutely invaluable resource! While they are the only pet insurance I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with, I can say with confidence that I would hands down recommend them to anyone searching for quality insurance. Filing a claim is easy and reimbursement is quick. They also have the friendliest and most supportive customer service reps I have ever talked with. We have 2 dogs that we love more than anything. When they needed emergency medical care (at the same time), the vet described the course of treatment and said "cost may become an issue." At such a stressful time, it was so comforting to know that they were covered by Healthy Paws. Knowing that emergency care would not be cost prohibitive, we could focus on getting our girls healthy. When all was said and done, we submitted their claims to Healthy Paws. I must admit that I was prepared to have to "argue" about certain parts of the bill, but on the contrary, we were reimbursed exactly as expected and described in their policy terms. They processed the claims within 5 days and we are expecting our reimbursement check in the mail. Anyone with a pet they consider family should have pet insurance, and I recommend Healthy Paws based on their customer service.

Every instance I have actually speaking to a customer service representative is a pleasure. Not once have I ever gotten an attitude but more of an understanding of the emotional situation that we were going through. I am very happy that we went with Healthy Paws and have suggested it to many of my friends and family members. It has saved us a lot over the years and with the plan we chose it is barely noticeable and definitely worth it for our 2 dogs.
