MURPHY BEAR, 160 # chocolate lab, our baby, best friend and constant companion.
We picked up Murphy New Years Day, 2012, and since then he has been away from us 2 days, and goes everywhere we do.
Shortly after we picked up Murphy we decided to enroll him in the Healthy Paws insurance program, never dreaming that it would be the wisest move too old people going into retirement could do.
About two years later , at the lake Murphy decided to leap off the bank and dive bomb the Ducks. He came out of the water, and you could tell from the look in his eyes something was wrong.
Turns out he had torn up his left rear knee and needed surgery. I called Healthy Paws, and they said he's covered, and you have a 10% deductible, let us know how it turns out.
\We had the surgery done, and the day after we brought him home, I submitted the claim to Healthy Paws on a Sat. afternoon. We received an e mail Mon stating you checks in the mail, and how is Murphy doing?
As a result of his injury Murphy has had to have regular ,water aquatic's, which Healthy Paws covers.
Two weeks ago I was operating the snow blower, and Murph was in the front yard. I glanced over to where he was on the trail we clear to the mail box, and he was sitting there with the look in his eyes, of Dad we have a problem.
I went over and he had either slipped, or fallen and history repeated itself, Murphy had damage to his right rear knee.
He had the surgery, a TPLO, and again Healthy Paws ,stood behind us, and is covering the expense.
The other thing that they understand is the relationship that their customers have with their pets, and it was surprising starting years ago that you would receive emails wondering how is Murphy doing?
I cannot say enough good things about Healthy Paws. I wish they were running the Health Care program for us old guys. My Buddy Murphy has better Health Care than we do Cheaper too.
The wife and I consider them family, and with all the things to worry about these days, you can relax when your pet is covered, it is the best investment we have made in a long time.
Thank You Healthy Paws, for being there, and for the wonderful staff you have.
Love
Murphy Bear
MURPHY BEAR,Our Chocolate Lab is this retired couples child, and when we got him in Jan 2012 we after much researched decided to insure with HEALTHY PAWS. Their coverage seemed to be outstanding, and the price very fair. Little did we know that was the best move we could have made, as about a year later Murph decided to bail off a bank into the water and in the process tore up his left rear hip.
I called Healthy Paws, and they said get it fixed your covered, less 10% Deductible.
The bill was close to $4000, and I sent in a claim on a Sat. and Monday had an email the check is in the mail.
Murphy has continued to have water therapy over the last couple years, and Healthy Paws, has continued to cover covered him. I don't know how they do it and we have only seen a few dollar raise in premium's.
Three weeks ago I was running the Snow Blower, and Murphy was in the front yard with me. I looked to see where he was, and he was sitting in a path to the mail box, and had a look on his face that told me Dad I have a problem. I went over and he got up and sure enough he had slipped or fallen on the icy path and tore up his right rear leg.
The story repeated, he had surgery 2 weeks ago, I sent the claim in and Healthy Paws TRUE to their word emailed me claim approved, check in the mail.
The other thing is that they CARE about you pet. I have on both occasions had emails regarding how Murphy is doing, and we joke that Murphys Grandparents are looking after him.
We love these guys, they are like family, loving and professional, and under stand a pet owners relationship with and love of their pet.
I encourage every pet owner I meet to sign up, you cannot afford not to, as its piece of mind at a very small cost.
I wish being retired I could find Health Insurance on us , that is as outstanding as what our Buddy Murphy Bear has.
THANK YOU HEALTHY PAWS
LOVE MURPHY BEAR

Simply the best, because it works!
I have an English bulldog and everybody knows how they are prone to get health issues. My sweet puppy had his first eye surgery when he was only 6months. This was before Health Paws (unfortunately, sometimes we wait till something happens to make a move). Now he is 1 and 4 months and another eye surgery, but this time it's different than before. I was a bit unsure if they would say this was a pre-condition, so I called and they said, again, if it's unrelated, we'll cover.!
And that's exactly what happened! It took only 1 week after I've done the claim, they responded me with the details of the refund. Now I'm waiting for the check to arrive!
Totally recommend it!

Healthy Paws is the best!
Healthy Paws has come through for me multiple times and proven to be well worth the monthly premium. If you are the type of pet parent that will spend whatever it takes, there is no reason not to have pet insurance. The reimbursements have always come super quickly and the app allows you to file the claim right after leaving the vet's office.

If you're considering pet insurance...
This is coming from someone who never had experience with pet insurance before so this process was new to me. Come on, pet insurance? Really? Growing up, who would've thought pet insurance was a thing. Well, it is a thing and I highly suggest looking into it if you haven't already. I got a 4 year-old pug at the beginning of the year from someone who couldn't care for her anymore. She was not spayed and didn't have any records of shots or anything. I kept asking and the family basically disappeared on us. Well I took it upon myself to make sure she was set. Got a checkup, shots and had her fixed. After a long debate (with myself) I decided to look into pet insurance. Asked around and did extensive research online. I ended up with Healthy Paws and I'm glad I did. This company and another company were in the top running. Price was ultimately what beat out the competition. With that said, a few weeks ago I came across a bump growing on my little puggy and had her taken in. Vet suggested for a removal and a test. This was an expensive surgery (well expensive for me). I contacted Healthy Paws to see if it was covered. It was, but because it was her first claim the vet had to get her records. This is to make sure it’s not a pre-existing condition. Since I had her checked when I got her I knew it was not pre-existing. I sent in the bill and the vet sent in her medical records. Sent a pic of the bill (via mobile app – easy to use!) on 3/2. Got confirmation of reimbursement on 3/7. I thought that was a quick turnaround since I knew they still had to review her records. Now that they have everything apparently claims would be even faster. In my opinion, I would highly recommend Healthy Paws. If you still have doubts, customer service is also on point with emails, and over the phone because I did both. The app is easy to use too! Give them a call! Check them out. If you are considering pet insurance I would definitely recommend this company!
