Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I can't begin to tell how many friends and relatives we have referred to Healthy Paws. More than three years ago our German Short Hair mix was diagnosed with a bladder tumor and given 2 months to live. She has undergone a very expensive surgical procedure to biopsy the mass,numerous chemo therapies and continuous prescription medications since then. I keep expecting the notice of huge rate increases or worse, cancellation. That's what insurance companies do, right? That's what many of my friends have experienced. That is not how Healthy Paws does business. More than 3 years and every claim has been handled rapidly and a check is in my mailbox, sometimes in less than a week. Thousands of dollars in claims, easily filed, quickly processed and never an unfair rate increase or questioning of Coco's care. I even received a call from the head guy once to let me know they would be there for Coco, and my wallet. Rating them a 10 does not seem to be enough. Great company, great people. Thanks

Healthy Paws processed our claims quickly and easily (just take a picture on your smartphone!) They have been amazing - their customer service is kind and helpful and they even reached out to us personally to see how our little guy was doing. That is so kind. I tell absolutely every pet-owning friend I know to look into Healthy Paws. It really is a smart financial decision - vet bills can quickly drain your savings. I want to give my dog a long, healthy life and Healthy Paws is helping me do that. I will be a loyal customer to them for the rest of Oliver's life and will get policies for any other pet we ever get. Customer service is the. best. I sleep well because I know my little guy is covered.

Healthy Paws have been absolutely fantastic! I'm so glad we are with them. My 11 month old pup spent 4 days at the emergency vet and was so ill that we thought he wouldn't be coming home. Having the peace of mind to be able to say 'yes' to all the tests the vet wanted to run allowed us to focus on our furbaby. I'm not sure we could have said yes if we didn't have insurance as the test costs were expensive and extensive. Thankfully our dog is home with us now and back to good health. I have found Healthy paws to be extremely simple to use and prompt to address all questions or concerns. The claim process is very simple. I use their app on my phone. Initially your vet will need to provide basic inform to Healthy pays, but afterwards, the claim is as simple as taking a picture of the bill and sending it using the app. When I discovered a reimbursement check was missing, Healthy Paws quickly provided another one. I have been very happy with the simplicity of submitting a claim and their quick responses to issues.

I have been with Healthy Paws 2 years and have 2 pets insured with them. I have probably submitted about 10 claims between my 2 dogs. Most were small claims with 1 being a major surgery. In all cases, my claims were resolved and checks received in around 2 weeks. Healthy Paws has been very good to my pet family.
