Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I can pretty confidently say that Healthy Paws is the best pet insurance out there. I have been making regular claims for several years while my dog has been battling severe arthritis, and the only issue I have had was due to an uncooperative veterinarian's office, which the team at Healthy Paws promptly resolved for me. I love that they cover alternative treatment methods like acupuncture and hydrotherapy, as well as traditional treatments. The app also makes filing claims fast and easy. I feel like I'm constantly referring other pet owners to them. The peace of mind of knowing that no matter what happens, I will never have to decide between being able to afford treatment and my dog's life is such a relief. I love this company and plan to sign up with each and every future dog I have.

Honestly I was truly shocked they covered everything including medical boarding. We rescued our dog Penny back in February. She came from a kill shelter in the south, but is the sweetest, happiest 1yo ever. Unfortunately, all that happiness and joy got translated into aggressive tail wagging that didn't work with our small apartment. Repeated injury prevented the tail wound from healing and had to be docked. A few short months later, the bald spot on her back came back cancerous and had to be removed. Then when the surgical site got infected and medical boarding was required to ensure proper healing they covered that too. All told what could have been a nightmarish 10k+ of vet expenses became much more bearable thanks to healthy Paws. It's simple to use, straightforward and I quite honestly don't know how they're able to cover everything they did for just $20 a month. I am very pleased with the prompt service for reimbursement for my cat's vet visits and subsequent surgery and meds. I was pleasantly surprised with the rapidity with which they processed the claim and sent me the checks. 90% reimbursement and $100.00 deductible is quite reasonable. They also emailed claim updates during processing and were accessible by phone. The phone reps are very efficient and sensitive and are clearly pet lovers. I recommend this company for any pet insurance needs.
