Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Our Australian Kelpie has been covered by Healthy Paws PetInsurance for 6 1/2 years, and we have had several claims in that time. Healthy Paws has always been very prompt in processing each claim and sending the checks to us. Recently, our loving pet has battled,, simultaneously, a bladder infection, a hypothyroid condition, arthritis, and a high level in her kidney readings. Healthy Paws has been with us every step of the way, and we are so grateful to them for being compassionate and helpful in every way. I highly recommend them to friends and acquaintances as often as I can.

Excellent Service at a great price! I have a two year old Yellow Lab who has had two TPLO knee surgeries, one on each knee, in nine months. The service each time was exceptional and prompt. They really pay attention to detail when it comes to your claim. On her most recent surgery Healthy Paws turned around four separate claims in just four days which is amazing to me. Every time I have talked on the phone with them I have always been impressed with the kindness and concern of their staff and it is nice to know that they all care about Roxy as a pet and not just as an account. The rates are very reasonable and can be customized by deductible and by coverage percentage. I opted to have a $500 deductible and to get reimbursed at the rate of 80% with no annual cap in coverage and it has been a great decision. Not only do they pay for the surgery and meds and the X-rays, but also pay for rehabilitation for a covered operation. And they also accept pre-existing conditions in most cases. I can see why they are rated number one in satisfaction. Great Job!

We have had 2 policies w Healthy Paws. Both of our dogs had major issues and sirgery and each time Healthy Paws came thru in a fast and supportive fashion. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Super firm.

Healthy Paws has been an excellent value. Other pet insurance plans seem to have endless exceptions and lifetime maximums. I have been able to get my dog TPLO surgery, which would have been prohibitively expensive without it. The premium is reasonable and the turnaround on claims is very fast. Like any other pet insurance, pre-existing conditions are not covered and they do not cover the initial visit/consultation. Other than that, they really provide the best coverage and customer service I've experienced so far as a pet owner.
