Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

The greatest Pet Insurance Company I have ever dealt with. My one year old German Shepherd (Chloe) fractured a Hock (Ankle). Extensive surgery was needed. Healthy Paws Claims people was most helpful all the times I contacted them. They were generally concerned about Chloe and helping me with the claim process. This day and age all you get is an attitude. You know what I'm talking about! NOT here with Healthy Paws everyone was professional, respectful and most of all caring.

Honestly this insurance company is the most knowledgeable and reliable company I’ve ever dealt with. My dog Athena has had several procedures done and they have helped us out immensely. I continue to recommend them to my friends and people I see at veterinary offices and the staff at each facility has boasted about how efficient and friendly they are. They have several coverage options and they have reasonable premiums and deductables. I would recommend them to any and everyone!

Who knew my less than 3 year old pit mix dog was going to get injured so young? She's already had 2 knee surgeries and I'm so thankful that I have Healthy Paws insurance. Claim submission is relatively easy and the turn around time for reimbursement is within a reasonable time. A live person always answers the phone when you call and they even send emails inquiring about my dog after her surgery. That means a lot in this world of automated systems and poor customer service. I didn't have pet insurance for my other dog and she got cancer which meant I paid out of pocket in full for her operations. It was stressful enough dealing with a sick pet, but the cost on top of it made it extra bad. So I learned my lesson and got insurance. I tell everyone I know to get it. I did a lot of research before choosing Healthy Paws and I'm glad I did it. Too bad my human insurance isn't this good.

I have been a Healthy Paws customer since 2015 and have two dogs with insurance plans. I did extensive research on pet insurance companies and compared each and every detail. Healthy Paws was by far the best option- no lifetime limits and coverage of hereditary and congenital conditions. I just recently had to use my insurance for a large claim (about $4,000), and I was a bit skeptical to see if the claim would be covered and that I would receive reimbursement. I am EXTREMELY happy to report that I was fully reimbursed up to the 90% reimbursement level that I chose (excluding the office visits-of course)! Because of Healthy Paws, I did not second-guess anything the surgeon was suggesting my dog needed due to cost. I was able to quickly and easily say "do everything that you need" because I had Healthy Paws pet insurance. It was a great feeling! Thank you Healthy Paws!
