Best insurance ever

I hear horror stories about friends dealing with their pet insurance or not having any insurance at all. We are glad my dog and cat are covered thru healthy paws. My dog ( Brooklyn) just had surgery to remove a large mass from his leg and from the rib area and knowing we were covered made it easier to handle. We submitted the bill and after deducting the doctors visit and deductible, we received a direct deposit 4 days later. They are amazing.

Fantastic!

I have 2 dogs covered with Healthy Paws and they have covered 2 major surgeries in the last 5 years for both my dogs. They paid 90% and they did it within 8ndays!

An $8,000 major surgery was scary enough but knowing Healthy Paws would cover the cost was a huge relief

I have two large breed dogs that are covered under Healthy Paws Pet Insurance and I have had two major accidents with both of them. Healthy Paws has covered 90% of both these accidents and they did it within 8 days! What a relief!!

Lifesaver for our Maltese

Healthy Paws was a lifesaver for our Maltese after she was attacked by two dogs. At first I got pet insurance because she was such a small puppy and I was worried she'd fall off the bed or something, but I never imagined she would be attacked and nearly killed by two dogs who escaped their owners grip on their leashes. It was such a shock, and totally unexpected. She had surgery and made a full recovery. Healthy Paws is so easy to use and simple to understand. The low monthly fee is very worth the peace of mind. You can enjoy your pet more. We are grateful that we still have our sweet little Maltese.

A Must for your pet!

We got healthypaws insurance for our rescue dog Cali right after adopting her, and it has been by far the best decision we made for her and us! healthypaws provides the best support via a user-friendly platform. I would make pet insurance mandatory for all pet owners, and give healthypaws as a recommendation every single time!

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
