Healthy Paws customer for 10 1/2 years and have filed LOTS of claims. Healthy Paws makes filing claims easy and reimbursement checks are issued quickly. Their app allows you to see where your claim is in the process and shows the explanation of benefits and payment. Last thing, customer service is quick to reply to emails and you can get a real person on the phone as well! Love the service and highly recommend.
Healthy paws increased my pet insurance by 212%. They would have charged me $7200 per year for coverage. They said they sent me notice, which I never saw!
When I called to complain, they refuse to reimburse me one I noticed the increase. Their own customer supervisor, Jennifer, admitted that the increase was “outrageous.”
Any pet owner who should know that healthy paws uses a “negative option” scheme, where the owner needs to directly cancel the policy.
Healthy paws is a horrible and unconscionable company.
Pet owners beware!
Healthy Paws makes filing claims easy and reimbursement is issued very quickly. Their app also allows you to see what the status of your claim is, and the explanation of benefits on your claim. The customer service is quick to respond to emails and you can speak to a real person on the phone! I am very happy with the service we have received for 10 1/2 years. And we have filed A LOT of claims!

DON’T waste your money!
Raised their prices again & never reimbursed me. They sent back the claims stating they needed more info from the vet. The vet provided the info and so did yet they never responded or paid.
To Whom It May Concern,
I brought home a sweet Havanese puppy named Peanut from a local breeder who had been breeding for over 30 years. We instantly fell in love with him. Although, I was initially unsure about getting pet insurance, I ultimately decided to move forward with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance and I’m so glad I did!
A year later, Peanut began having seizures and was diagnosed with epilepsy. I reached out to the breeder, who assured me that in all her years of breeding, she had never encountered a dog with this condition, Peanut was her first. As time went on, Peanut was also diagnosed with liver disease, then heart disease, and most recently, bowel disease.
I honestly don’t know what I would have done without Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. To date, Peanut's has had over 220 claims. Without insurance, I can’t imagine how I would have managed the financial burden. Not only does Healthy Paws consistently and efficiently cover claims, but they also take the time to check in on Peanut. They treat him like family, and that level of care means the world to me.
I wholeheartedly recommend Healthy Paws to anyone with a pet. Their support has allowed me to focus on loving and caring for Peanut, rather than worrying about overwhelming vet bills. I am beyond grateful for their compassion, reliability, and continued support.
Sincerely,
Donna & Peanut
