Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Thanks to Healthy Paws, we were able to get our dachshund admitted to the hospital for emergency treatment and ivdd surgery without a hassle. There is nothing more stressful or heartbreaking than to be given just two choices from a surgeon: life-saving surgery (if you can afford it) or euthanasia (if you don't have $$$ or insurance). Having much-needed pet insurance allowed us to focus on caring for our dog and to get him the best medical care possible.

So glad I purchased the Healthy Paws Insurance for my dog! My dog just had major leg surgery which was very expensive. Healthy Paws quickly reimbursed me for the percentage that I agreed to. They even emailed to inquire on how my dog was doing. I highly recommend HealthyPaws!!

Healthy Paws is one of the best pet insurance companies I've dealt with! I have had experience with two other companies and HP is by far the best! The claim submission is easy, the reimbursement rates are high (mine are 80%), the rates are reasonable and the customer service is superb. I highly recommend them.. for example, my German Shepherd within 10 days time had knee surgery and then ended up in the ER, costing me about $8400 in 10 days, I submitted the claims to HP and received $6400 in reimbursements! AND received those fund quickly! The knee surgery in 3 weeks and the ER in less than 2! This is huge when you have those type of vet bills - they even emailed me personally to check on the patient! Absolutely amazing company!

Our dog Newman suffered a severe laceration on his side due to being frightened by a loose dog. The infection which accompanied the laceration was resistant to all medications which were prescribed for him. After weeks of multiple vet visits the wound finally showed improvement and healed. Healthy Paws customer care is the best and claims processing is easy and fast. They supported us from the beginning and even sent an email to us asking how Newman was doing. Healthy Paws is Pawsome!
