Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

All I can say is good things about Healthy Paws. I was generally a bit skeptical about pet Insurance at first but having now been through an experience where my pup needed emergency spinal surgery, Im so glad we have it. Its one of those things that you are not sure you really need until you really need it. My experience with making my claim to Healthy Paws was good. It was fast and easy, which gave me the opportunity to focus on taking care of my pup who is now able to walk again.

Pain-free claim reimbursement!!! It was the first time I had to claim for medical expenses for my dog and it was effortless.

Love that they reimbursement for 90% of the procedures/medicines etc that they cover — which includes physical therapy! The reimbursements are pretty timely and customer service is very helpful.

This is the best pet insurance! Our dog recently had to have laparoscopic surgery to remove a very large vinyl treat bag from his stomach. Healthy Paws processed and reimbursed the very expensive claim within days of receiving it. This is not the first claim we have had to make and they have always been responsive and pay what we are insured for. We have had them for approximately 7 years insuring both our dogs. I strongly recommend them!

We have had our two cats for almost two years now and are constantly reminded how much we love Healthy Paws. Our oldest cat started having GI issues last year and went through a lot of testing. Thanks to Healthy Paws, we were able to get to the root of the issue and he now has meds and prescription food that work well for him. However, we had our biggest scare a few weeks ago when our youngest cat became sick in the evening and we rushed him to an emergency clinic. We were told he needed emergency surgery and we didn't even think twice about the price, thanks to Healthy Paws. When I got the insurance claim back, I was floored by the ease of the process and comprehensiveness of our plan. We even got a check in email from them to see how he was recovering! Healthy Paws has made being a pet owner so much easier and given us the peace of mind we need. Anytime we leave them with a cat sitter, it is so comforting to be able to let them know we have pet insurance and in case of an emergency, make sure the cats get the care they need -- no matter the price!
