Healthy Paws is true to there word in that they cover what they say they will cover!

Every time we have had an issue with one of our fur babies that needed costly medical treatment, Healthy Paws has been there to assist with the finances. They also have reached out to check in on our animals before and after claims were settled! I would and do, recommend them to anyone who wants to get insurance for their pets!

Worth it

If you get an animal their care is a priority. We all know that veterinary services are not cheap so insuring your pet against anything unexpected is a no brainer. Healthy paws made it easy to file a claim with fast responses. Just make sure you give them all of the pets medical records so they can verify the claim. 100% recommend.

Dog was injured. Needed major surgery. Healthy Paws was there for us!!!

Our dog Lily is still fairly young, but she injured her back leg and it required major surgery. It was super stressful because, well, she's our baby! Luckily Healthy Paws made it a much better experience then we ever expected. We filed claim, they immediately communicated the additional documents needed. We sent them, and the claim was processed immediately. It was the quickest and most streamline insurance process we've experienced. And they also emailed to check and see how she was recovering! Highly recommend Healthy Paws.

Whether it's a chronic condition or a one time surgery, Healthy Paws covers 90 percent of the bill, excluding the office visit. All medicines, surgeries, and medical tests are reimbursed quickly, so pet owners can afford to get the care they need for their much loved pets. Our entire family is so grateful for Healthy Paws, and their genuine concern for our sweet English Toy Spaniel.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
