Healthy Paws has always been excellent to us & our many, many, rescued & adopted pets insured by them since 2017! Good communication, quick turnaround times, easy upload process, reasonable about claims, even when we've had more claims in 1 year vs another (due to senior dogs being sick)... Thank you HP!

Timeliness

Healthy paws claim experience is really easy to use and payment comes quickly. Thank you to Healthy Paws for helping my dog Penelope who has had a lot of health issues.

Unreasonable premium hikes and reduction of coverage for senior dogs. We have been with this insurance company since 2016 when our dog entered our home as a puppy. We put up with unreasonable premium hikes for our big girl because we wanted the best healthcare for her, and she has had minimal health problems. However, now that she is over 10 years old, Healthy Paws is constructively dumping her by increasing her deductible and at the same time reducing her coverage. This is really unfair. An insurance company should not be able to take our money for 10 years and then raise deductibles and reduce coverage when the risk of health problems increases solely because of her age.

What makes our experience great with Healthy Paws is the peace of mind we get financially when already dealing with a stressful time when our dog Magnus is having an emergency. We've been with Healthy Paws for many years now and wouldn't think of changing. They respond very quickly on claims and that's extremely helpful. We tell all our pet loving friends about it!
