100% Satisfied!

I can't say enough good things about Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. I was referred to this company by a tenant who had Healthy Paws for a long time. I would not insure my 4 precious babies anywhere else. One of my puppies was bitten by anther dog in a park. Medical bill was over $3000.00. I filed the claim online (very easy to do) and within a week, I received my reimbursement check. The whole claim process was quick and hassle free. Just today, I received an email from Healthy Paws staff asking for my puppy's recovery progress. Needless to say, I am very touch. I would not insure my 4 precious babies anywhere else.

Incredibly easy claims process and super coverage

I signed up for the health insurance just to be on the safe side. I’ve NEVER had insurance for a family pet, but decided to bite the bullet after seeing many of my clients struggle with their dogs vet bills from various Medical emergencies. I really didn’t think I’d need it for my healthy, fit, Shepherd mix, but I was wrong. After needing TPLO surgery for a torn cruciate, I am convinced I made the right choice to get health insurance. This company was AMAZING to work with. Super communication, appropriate premiums, and great coverage. They even have an easy to use app that makes filing claims a snap! So happy I chose healthy paws!!!!

Excellent service

I’m so glad I have this insurance with Healthy paws. I wasn’t sure it was a good idea since I had a puppy and very healthy but who knew she would get hit by a motorcycle right in front of our vehicle. Her hip was pulled out of socket and tendons blown. She is doing good but the recovery time is long. Thank goodness we had this insurance/ with bills over $3000 and in pandemic - all finances are so tight. Getting the reimbursed check today was a huge blessing .

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
