Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I’ve had this insurance just shy of 2 years and not had to use it much thankfully. We recently have had to use for HUGE vet costs to treat Valley Fever, scans, tests, meds and special treatments. Has been a God send to have! Seriously, so easy to work with and submit claims and fast reimbursement. I’m grateful we can treat our boy with the best round the clock care & Specialists and not have such an enormous financial burden to think about. Get the insurance now & don’t let it lapse! Worth every penny of premium knowing my furbaby is covered! My 2 Pits before Vinny have since passed away both experienced Cancer & ACL surgeries & many other medical issues and I had no insurance and paid out of pocket for their care.

We are so grateful for Healthy Paws. Our cat’s health suddenly took a drastic nosedive, and we have spent many long nights in emergency rooms, countless vet appointments, and hospitalizations. Without Healthy Paws, the cost of months worth of these bills would have been too expensive to keep up with. We wouldn’t have been able to get her the necessary care she needed to keep her alive right now. She wouldn’t be here without Healthy Paws. I strongly recommend considering Healthy Paws insurance, even if you believe your pet is young and healthy. Our cat is only a year and a half old, had no pre-existing issues, and we were told by her vet she was the healthiest cat they’ve seen at her yearly checkup right before her health took a turn. I have never had pet insurance before but I am SOOOOO thankful that we are covered by Healthy Paws now. I would never have expected a cancer diagnosis for our sweet boy but I feel so fortunate that Healthy Paws has eased some of the fear. I have been truly impressed with their service and quick turnaround of our claims. It makes this unbearable situation... SOOOO much easier. AND they even check up on him to see how he is doing. Our 11 year old English Lab had some serious issues which we later found out was from a bigger than grapefruit sized mass in his abdomen. He was rushed to the emergency vet after having projectile vomiting and not being able to defecate. The entire encounter has taken a month and several visits to the emergency vet ending up in surgery. Healthy Paws responded within a week of submitting the first invoice and we had a check. They also emailed us on several occasions to check on our boy. We have been reimbursed very quickly, usually within a week. They have shown a lot of compassion and understanding on this terrible journey and have been with us every step of the way. I highly recommend them for your pet's insurance protection. The only negative I would say is, they don't cover exams. It would be nice if the covered emergency exams as every visit we had to emergency had a pretty high exam cost.
