Do Not Buy
If you file claims with this insurance, your premiums go up. I got no notice and my auto payment was more than twice what it had been. There is a class action suit against them because they have no ceiling for how much they can raise your rates.. they are also obtuse as to what they cover, especially prescription medication.

Zorro Loves Healthy Paws!
We absolutely ADORE Healthy Paws!!! We have been with them since Zorro was 4 months old and they have been a lifesaver, literally and figuratively for the past 7+ years.
When Zorro got deathly ill with HGE/AHDS, Healthy Paws was very helpful and their claims process was as simple as you could ever hope for. We didn't have to worry about anything except getting Zorro healthy again.
Since his immune system was compromised due to that illness 2.5 years ago, Healthy Paws has been by our side every step of the way. Their service is absolutely exceptional and we are so grateful that our vet referred us to them so many years ago.

Canceling Healthy Paws because they're…
Canceling Healthy Paws because they're putting my ten year old dog's premiums through the roof. There were supposed to be no age-related increases in premiums but they're now committing fraud by increasing premiums and also denying claims. They were sued in WA and are now being sued in CA. Don't consider going with them. Do a company that just does pet insurance not like these shysters.

Was easy. Reps were great. Is my first claim. I. Very impressed and grateful.
Monthly Cost
$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.
Coverage
One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more.
You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.
Deductible
You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750*
*Choice depends on age of the pet
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
