My plan was in a grace period after my …

My plan was in a grace period after my auto pay did not go through and they took two weeks to tell me. When I went to make payment they said coverage lapsed two days ago and if I renewed all the prior conditions would not be covered. They have above average programs, but treated me terribly and now I am paying out of pocket because my dog has a skin irritation problem that they did cover but no longer will due to their own error in allowing my coverage to lapse. Feels awful to be treated like **** after being with them for a year. They really screwed me, so be careful of that. In all my dealings up to that point they were nice people that I thought cared about my dog, but they are just a business.

Got Figo just in time!!!

The vet tech at my vet told me how she insured her dog with Figo, and how great Figo was. I signed my dog Roxie the next day and glad I did. Fifteen days after I signed up, I had taken her to the vet because she swallowed one of my kids toys and trouble breathing afterwards. The bill was 2400. Figo covered 80 percent of the bill as the was the coverage percentage I chose. Relieved. Thanks Figo

Wish I had not gotten this insurance. Going to post this on social media

When buying made it seem like all I had to do was send in receipt and it would be paid asap. Not only is it not asap but they want want medical records sent from the vet for every visit, not just receipt.

Best Overall Pet Insurance

I have 2 dogs on Figo. I was with another pet insurance company and recently swiitched. I found Figo to have better coverage, and one of the most affordable. What I like most about Figo is the phone app which can do more than other pet insurance apps. I can upload all my vet bills, so I can better track what I have paid to vets. I can file claims. I am glad I switch to Figo. I filed my first claim and it was easy as 1 2 3. Glad my 2 dogs are on Figo. I have peace of mind knowing FIgo will be there if my pets get sick or injured.

Figo is Awesome

I was recommended FIgo by my vet. Figo coverage is more than most pet insurance, and is fairly reasonable. I like the fact that Figo covers exams fees, holistic coverage is inclusive in the price, and offer texting as an option to communicate with customer service. I filed 2 claims and as a novice, the process was so easy. I recommend Figo to all my friends, family,and co workers. I think Figo is by far the best pet insurance out there.

Monthly Cost

$9 to $135 on average depending on chosen plan.

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80%, 90% or 100% after your deductible. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$100, $250, $500, $750, $1,000 or $1,500 annually. Deductibles offered depend on pet’s age and location.

Age Limits

Must be 8 weeks or older to enroll. No upper age limits apply.

Waiting Period

1-day for accidents, 14 days for illnesses, 6 months for hip dysplasia and orthopedic conditions. (Both hip dysplasia and orthopedic condition waiting periods can be waived by having exam/waiver form completed by veterinarian)

Exclusions

Curable pre-existing conditions may be eligible for coverage if symptom free for 12 months Conditions arising from a repetitive and specific activity, eg. Ingestion foreign object, ear infection caused by water, snake bites, etc. – excluded after 3 occurrences We now have a wellness option We have a diminishing deductible Copay & deductible waived for emergency life-saving treatment (in the case of an accident, not illness)
