Figo | Pet Insurance Review

I wanted so badly to like Figo, but just about everything about them has been pretty awful. First, the claim response time was ridiculous, taking over over 7 weeks to process a simple claim. I considered leaving at this point, but called in and was reassured they were making some necessary changes and the claims would be processed much quicker in the future. So I stuck around. But then only a couple weeks later I was notified my premium was due for renewal and that there would be an 130% increase in my premium!! I thought it had to be a mistake. When I called in about it they weren’t exactly the friendliest and basically told me to go elsewhere if I thought it was too much. And, I should probably mention that my dog is a healthy one year old with absolutely no health issues. So to go from $30/month to over $70/month made absolutely no sense. I’d say beware. It seems to me they have the bait and switch tactic down. They lure you in with great rates and then slam you a year or two into your policy. And last thing, I did leave and am very happy with a different company who is offering the exact same coverage (90% reimbursement, $250 deductible, unlimited lifetime benefits) for HALF the cost. So when they tell you they’re competitively priced, don’t believe them.

I submitted the claim (vet bills and vet visit reports) around mid-day, and by the end of the day we got a note that our claim was approved and our check was on the way. I've never dealt with the insurance company which acts so promptly, reviews claims and resolves them with such expedience, We couldn't be more pleased with FIGO insurance, and we are very happy we choose them and they are on board. Thumbs up!

Filed a claim for my rescue cat she needed extensive dental work. Figo was great! They paid the claim as advertised. I'm very satisfied.

I cannot say enough positive things about FIGO Pet Insurance. I have carried insurance on my pets for over 10 years and used two other well known national brands. There is NO comparison. I never have to "fight" for a claim, never have to "remind" them of what my policy paperwork states is and is not covered. When I have spoken with customer service they are always pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend FIGO pet insurance. AMAZING SERVICE!

I just signed with Figo recently. The Customer Service Rep I spoke with was Judy. Judy was very pleasant, professional and very patient ( I had to place her on hold a few times, I was at work). She answered all my questions and helped me with the Pet Cloud App. This was definitely the way to start out with what I hope to be a very good relationship with a very good pet insurance provider.
