Figo | Pet Insurance Review

I sent an email over 30 days ago and still haven't received a response. I also submitted a claim just over 30 days ago and just yesterday received an email telling me they need my adopted kittens records from before his effective date. I scanned the records that were given to me at the time of the adoption. So now none of my claims are being processed until they receive more information. I sent them another email with another questions and again, no response. I am not satisfied with the customer service.

As any pet parent knows, these are our children, not pets. So my husband and I signed our child up for insurance as one does. It took e-mails and a call to get an acknowledgment to our purchase and registration (this is key here). Apparently their slow tardy reply is due to a merge/migration. Our baby starting showing signs of kennel cough to the point I truly thought the next morning he was going to die in my arms at the vet. The inability to get up, shaking, the cough/honking noise followed by the white foam spit. After antibiotics and cough meds the culture showed a simple virus, not the dreaded kennel cough. So I submit our claim with vet info, bills etc. and wait for it ... remember that down time between Figo taking our money, registration and their acknowledgment email? Well - they did not start his insurance till they chose to which means my baby was in some sort of waiting period still and not covered BY A DAY. Thank you Figo for once again proving insurance companies are only out to steal money. Our policy is cancelled and I will make sure everyone knows that you guys are worthless thieves ...

Figo saved my pets life and my family a ton of money!!! I saw a few negative responses about claim times so I wanted to chime in. Not sure if the others received the same letter I did, but they have been great at communicating their growing pains and it seems to me like they are on it. Personally my experience has but nothing but fabulous. They paid my claim and whenever I text them they are super responsive. All in all, they are hands down the best pet insurance company out there. They also have an awesome Pet Cloud and mobile app.

I am so beyond grateful for Figo. Early this year, I filed my first claim, and it was a big one ($1200+). What seemed like a minor dental issue (a lost tooth) ended up being indicative of significant damage to 8 of my dog's teeth, something that could only be caught during an in-depth dental cleaning and had therefore been missed in regular check ups and by the rescue where I got my pup. Uploading documents to Figo's site was so easy I thought for sure I had done it wrong, and I received my claims check so fast (I don't remember exactly the timeline, but it was not more than two weeks later). Then, a week or so after my claim was closed, I received a card from Figo saying they were thinking of me and my pup and wishing her a speedy recovery. I am so accustomed to human insurance putting me through the ringer with having standard claims denied and spending hours on the phone to get basic care covered. It's such a relief knowing that my furbabies are in good hands. Surgery is stressful enough, and I really can't express what a relief it was for this part of the process to be so smooth and easy. I spent HOURS researching different pet insurances, but ultimately felt like Figo cover the most for the best prices. I was already please with how quickly and easily they handled my claim, and sending a get well card was a cherry on top. I feel like Figo is a company run by people who have and love pets, and ultimately, that's who I want handling my pets' insurance.

Just wanted to let you know the outstanding service I was given by your employee Jennifer Czech she is always helpful and friendly and goes beyond what is expected . I work at an insurance company and know how hard it can be sometimes . Just wanted to let you know as she truly is an asset to your company.
