Buyer Beware
Buyer Beware: if you need insurance for a one time, unexpected accident this company is okay. But as soon as there is an ongoing medical condition Fetch will spike your premiums and lower pet coverage until it’s more expensive to have their insurance than pay for your dog’s treatment out of pocket.
I had this insurance (previously PetPlan) since my now 13yo cocker mix was a perfectly healthy puppy. Therefore, everything was technically covered. When he had a couple small accidents, it was all reimbursed appropriately. However, as soon as my senior dog developed an aging lung condition and small heart murmur that requires expensive lifetime medication (still a very happy and active pup)… they made coverage completely unaffordable (3x the cost of his medication). When I called, a Fetch representative outright admitted that when pet payouts start to regularly exceed premiums and your deductible, this is what they do to make back the cost.
