Horrible customer service at Fetch…

On Feb 6th I posted a negative review about Fetch pet insurance as they refused to pay my claim for my cat Charlie’s tooth resorption consultation with a board certified dentist which was recommended by my vet who felt the situation warranted a specialist. Someone from Fetch commented on my post asking for more info and said they would look into it Even though I had provided my policy number in the original post. I provided the policy number again. That was 10 days ago and I have not heard back from anyone at Fetch. Obviously that was a disingenuous attempt to sound like they were responding to my complaint. This company is bad news. Horrible customer service

Janelle provided exceptional customer service

Janelle was extremely knowledgeable. Felt she actually cared about my questions and concerns and spent time listening and answering. She was very thorough and very pleasant to talk too. All I can do is share my experience

All I can do is share my experience. My cat Marvin had a urethral obstruction was discharged then was re-obstructed by morning. Both obstructions required extensive and rapid treatment accompanied by a hospital stay. Fetch paid out both claims. Of the thousands spent the only thing they did not cover was $20 of food.

RUN AWAY and go with a reputable company

RUN AWAY. They cant read soap notes, they keep asking for the same document over and over as they cant actually read the vet notes and the dates. They need a course on how to actually understand and rather then pay they keep asking for repeats of the same documents. WHY? Go with trupanion or another higher rated company. I prepaid for the year and requesting a refund and will pay for another company that understands documents. Very disappointed in their customer service and lack of education.

Don’t walk run

Don’t walk run! My dog was covered and they fought paying tooth and nail, they demanded things that are not required, said things that were not true and were obviously easily going to be proven. I took a break because they put me threw so much, I reported them to BBB and AARP, I will keep up my claim until resolved. They figure if they make it so difficult, you will give up. Go with someone else. Cynthia McElroy My dog passed in May from cancer Covered 3/26 took effect 3/27 Went to hospital 4/12, I thought it was a jaw issue, several visits later find out it was cancer. He had all his normal bed checkup’s, clean bill of health. They said he missed 10 day waiting time???no Preexisting..no one knew he had cancer, in fact, I had to insist at hospital when they said they could not find anything..he stopped eating over night, something is wrong. More test showed cancer. I chose not to do kemo, no quality of life n would come back with type it was. No notice, fast growing..had 2 months with a wonderful dog, friend, family. Do not take out Fetch Insurance, they don’t care about you.

Monthly Cost

Plans average $35/month for dogs and $25 /month for cats

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80% or 90% after your deductible.

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Age Limits

Fetch doesn’t enforce upper age limits, so you can enroll your pet any time after it turns six weeks old.

Some providers limit coverage for older pets to accident-only.

Fetch doesn’t limit coverage by age so that you can get the right care for your buddy, no matter what.

Waiting Period

Fetch’s waiting periods are 15 days for accidents and illnesses and six months for orthopedic events.

Exclusions

Fetch won’t cover pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures, boarding costs, breeding costs, wellness care items, or accidents and illnesses that occur during waiting periods.
