Cancelled Policy
I cancelled my policy with embrace because they were not reimbursing me once claims were approved. I paid upfront costs for services at my pet's vet and once Embrace approved the claims they just stated that it went towards my deductible. I'm confused because wouldn't that mean I would be reimbursed for the amount I spent for my pets visits and Embrace would reimburse me. Until I called in to find out what was going on and I was told I would first have to reach my deductible amount and anything beyond that could be reimbursed. Upon purchasing that wasn't explained to me. That's ok now that it has been but I would have liked to make a more informed decision had I known that upfront. Then many of my claims that weren't approved but was instead denied just seemed like a way to get out of covering the services. Just be sure that you are paying attention and asking all the correct questions to understand your plan for your pet needs prior to committing to a plan.
