GREAT INSURANCE

I have had Embrace insurance for my current dog and my previous dog. They have been outstanding. I know exactly what I get and what I have to pay for and it has been a total piece of mind to have this insurance covering my animals.

It is useless

They look for any reason, even if your pet has visited the emergency room because it was in pain and has no diagnosis, they use that as a basis to avoid paying any bills. And when you make a claim, not only do they not pay, but they raise the monthly payment to almost double for the following year. I do not recommend it, it did not help me at all.

After several months evaluation they covered virtually nothing for my dog. Then they would not accept my email to cancel. No cancel feature online or in app. You have to call. Horrible experience

Embrace is Good Overall

Embrace is generally good. Sometimes it’s frustrating to get auto-generated emails about claim status without the details needed to make it progress. They’ll say they’re contacting the vet for medical information. The problem is that the information seems to have already been provided and they don’t specify what’s missing. Other than these situations, Embrace is reliable and easy to use.

This company will use any excuse and…

This company will use any excuse and any liberal way of interpreting medical results to weasel out of paying a bill. They declared Valley fever to be a pre-existing condition when a titer result was questionable to a vet. Then when a subsequent titer was negative, they declined to reclassify. This was but one example. Every claim was questioned using a phony interpretation of symptoms. DON'T BUY THIS INSURANCE!
