Unexplained 50% increase in Premiums Every Year
Rates where increased year over year by nearly 50% without explanation. While they will gladly charge you for a year while offering no coverage due to the waiting period, where they determine what pre-existing conditions they don't want to cover. Between the coverage limits, deductible, claim process, poor policy coverage, and ever increasing premiums I would never recommend embrace or pet insurance in general to anyone.
I would recommend that you simply set aside what you would pay every year for the insurance. At least then you will have a savings account full of money if nothing goes wrong and if something does you have an account with to pay for it.

BEST PET INSURANCE!
EMBRACE Pet Insurance through USAA is just like service with USAA. Claims are processed quickly, and the Agents are professional and efficient. Their response rate is far better than expected. Service has been Great! So far.

Easy claim submitting process!
This was my first time utilizing my pet insurance plan and I was extremely pleased with how easy Embrace made the claim submitting process. My reimbursement was deposited back in my account within a few days.

Good Experience since June (24)
So far, I've had a good experience with Embrace Pet Insurance. They have been responsive to the claims I have submitted. The staff have been responsive and caring when I have had to contact to them.
Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
