Beware! Embrace and Fraud Are Synonyms – Stay Away from This Company
I have never written a negative review before. Typically, when I encounter a bad experience, I try to resolve it directly and find an amicable solution. However, that was impossible with Embrace.
I purchased a policy for my yellow lab—my child—a few months ago and followed every rule in their book to ensure that, if and when I needed to file a claim, it would be handled fairly, ethically, and professionally. I submitted all required medical records dating back to 2023, completed orthopedic examinations, and even called to confirm the absence of pre-existing conditions. I did everything right.
Yet, when I submitted my very first claim—for a simple case of diarrhea—it was denied. Embrace falsely linked it to an isolated, one-time incident of hypersalivation, which was completely unrelated. Their process is designed to delay, deflect, and deny rather than support their customers.
This company operates unethically, immorally, and, in my opinion, engages in deceptive business practices. Embrace is a fraud—stay far away!
Update: Embrace has labeled a single, isolated instance of hypersalivation from March 2024 as a “pre-existing condition.” This one-off occurrence, which has never happened again, was linked to my claim for vomiting and diarrhea—yet they deemed it pre-existing. If this isn’t fraudulent, unethical, and morally wrong, I don’t know what is. Stay away from Embrace, folks—you’ll thank me later.
I've had embrace for three and a half months and when I was traveling with my puppy she got intoxicated so she had to stay at the emergency pet hospital, when everything was over with and I put in my claim they were extremely fast working on it and also very patient with me when I had questions and they explained the deductible and everything in a way that it was easy for me to understand, so I'm very satisfied with Embrace.
Working with Ash and him taking time to explain the types of coverage was extremely helpful! All my questions were answered and he was so patient!
From the get-go, I can tell that I will continue to have excellent customer service from Embrace
