Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I have two girls, Bailey Nikole 3y/o & Maddie LouAnn 7 months old mini schnauzers. I am so happy with Embrace for their service, kindness and understanding. In December Bailey got very sick and had to stay overnight in the hospital. She was vomiting & had diarrhea.It was heartbreakin because we have never been apart ovetnight. I called Emberace and explained in tears what was going on their staff walked me thru filing my claim and was very compassionate. I tell everyobe about Emvrace. Bailey is slowly recovering but feels better. Thank you Emvrace

I have been an Embrace customer since 2007. My girl has had 3 bouts of "severe hemorrhagic gastroenteritis" at a cost of $1,500.00 or so each of the three visits to the 24 hour emergency clinic. (Of course the serious stuff always happens after regular vet office hours!) Both of my Goldens have had dermal masses removed this year at a cost of over $500.00 each. (Both benign, YEAH!) Never, ever did Embrace give me any kind of hassle. All claims were promptly paid in accordance with the policies I purchased. I have friends that have VPI and were very disappointed. I have, and would definitely again and again and again, recommend Embrace! Rarely does a company proactively contact you to keep you in the loop. A good company answers your questions promptly when asked. A great company, like Embrace, contacts you with answers before you have to call them! Keep up the good work!

I have two cats, one small and older, and one younger. Embrace has helped me get both of them to get healthier. Just today I went to the vet and she told me that the younger cat (6 years) Yetti, had finally her fracture is strong, so she now doesn't have to go back to have the stent anymore. Yetti is SO happy! Yetti is adopted from Angel Memorial and I'm so glad I did. In fact she is just as happy as I am, now that her arm and foot are perfect. My other cat that was adopted after my son-inlaw found her alone and desperate because she had been dumped for 3 weeks. She the older won (8 years) and she is a real sweety, who lies on my bed, and keeps me worm. Thanks so much for Embrace for all the help they've done for me, Yetti and Benni!

I used to be one of those people who swore up and down that they would never buy pet insurance... that if the company wasn't making money, they wouldn't sell it. Today, I can safely say that I will never have another dog without springing for pet insurance. Overall, I am very pleased with Embrace. My only regret is that I didn't sign my dog up the day we got her! Unfortunately she has had several bouts of colitis over her first year with us that haven't been covered because they were "preexisting." Aside from that, I've been very pleased with the level of customer service and communication I've received from Embrace, despite the lack of any real online functionality. Our dog recently developed localized demodicosis which will require anywhere from 2-6 months of medication (at $177 a month!). We've been pre-approved for a refund (less our 20% deductible) and I have already calculated that it's going to more than pay for itself.

This is my second year with Embrace. I am very happy with the Wellness Rewards Plan for my greyhound. After taking her for her annual overall wellness check, nail trimming, various immunizations and required county tag, fecal exam, and heartworm test, Embrace quickly reimbursed me the full $200 of the total $234 bill (I selected the $200 maximum reimbursement plan). I definitely will renew with Embrace when this plan expires in March.
