Claims paid as expected

I was pleased to see my first claims paid routinely. I bought the combo wellness and insurance plans. We have two Lab puppies and by the time I had them examined , all the shots, spayed and neutered I had incurred $500 in wellnessVet costs. Embrace paid them all at 100% even though some of the claims were over the 90 day period. they relaised it was my first claim and gave me some grace with that.

great customer service

I have been extremely happy with the customer service I have received and the timeliness of the payments. However, I was a little disappointed to hear that there is a $400 maximum on wellness which I have already met for my pet Beezy after her spay and vaccinations.

Easy process

First experience with Pet insurance. We have a puppy mill rescue and not sure of his genetic decided to get insurance. So far great service from Embrace. The claims are paid in a quick fashion and the process has been very easy so far. Good job.

Fantastic Results

After being faced with the expenses associated with an emergency splenectomy and a short battle with cancer with our last lab, we decided to invest in embrace pet insurance with our next lab puppy...what a smart decision - after ingesting a pair of slippers we were faced with an ER visit and emergency surgery to clear the obstruction - with Embrace we had the peace of mind to move forward with surgery w/out worrying about the expense - after the surgery the claims were processed in an efficient manner w/no disputes about the vet charges - wonderful customer service

By far, the best pet insurance I have used!

Without Embrace, I would not have been able to provide Tucker with the intensive care that he required. On arrival to the ER, I had to make a prepayment of $3500 by credit card before any heroic treatment could be performed. Embrace gave me the peace of mind that I needed to sign for this expensive care. I received a check from Embrace for the cost of Tucker's 3 day stay in the ICU minus the deductible within 4 weeks time. A subsequent claim for an epipen was also covered. I can't thank Embrace enough for their care, concern and constant updates.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
