BETTER than VPI/ASPCA/& others

as an animal advocate and animal owner/lover for all of my life, my circle of friends & I are CONSTANTLY reviewing and researching insurance on our animals. As VPI is a newer company, I was the first of my friends to go with them after hearing negative experiences from all of them about other insurance carriers. My dog is currently 6 and is WELL PAMPERED. We've had Embrace for 2 years and they've lived up to EVERY OUNCE of my expectation and EXCEEDED every customer service experience I've had (*unfortunately* several claims already). I wish you would insure horses!!

Simply Stated

THE BEST, Embrace has been a wonderful provider for our pups. Claim processing is prompt, Customer Service is fabulous and the actually provide coverage for your beloved pets without any gimmicks. I will recommend them every time!

Very happy with service.

I was very happy with the results of our most recent claims. We ended up with two different veterinarians in less than 6 hours and we're a bit afraid we would be denied the second claim but it was going to the second vet that saved Gabe's life.

Embrace is Great

Embrace is the first pet insurance I have ever encountered in the past 20 years that is actually worth the time/money spent on it. Their process is straightforward, easy to understand and navigate. Their claims process is timely and so easy to do if you can scan in documents from your computer. Our puppy Jesse, just had to have arthroscopic surgery and I was waiting to see if Embrace would come through on a big cost like this as well as they have for smaller issues. Same great service. I highly recommend them.

my dog was diagnose with cancer. hearing the news was heartbreaking as she is a beloved family member. embrace insurance made the claim process painless. They processed the claims in a timely manner without any nonsense. you could'nt ask for a better insurance company. dealing with my dog illness is enough without any other issues. embrace made the process a lot easier to deal with.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
