My own dogs fought with each other after living peacefully together for almost three years. We determined it was a foster dog that triggered the animosity. It happened in an instant. I took both dogs to the emergency vet on a Saturday, about three weeks ago to get patched up, and have since been back for follow ups. I submitted my claims and have already received my reimbursement. Once the claim was submitted an email chain ensued to keep my posted of the status of my claim. I wish human insurance would work as well. In addition, any time I have called with a question, I get a knowledgeable and courteous human. Thanks, Embrace. ps. Thank you for being there when needed.
Holly, our 4 year old Ocicat was the picture of health until recently when it appeared that she had gotten into something that was affecting her kidney function. She had gone almost a whole year without a claim and when I had to file the first of two or three, Embrace was right there.
We have had a policy for Holly and her canine sister, Tia, for almost 5 years. The company is wonderful to work with and if I ever had a question there was always someone there who could answer it, or if they couldn't, they would ask someone who could.

Embrace so thoughtful and prompt taking care of my claimCouldn't be happier. Had to use a specialty doc and Embrace to care of my claims. They respond quickly to emails. Am telling all my friends about their service and recommending them.

I was skeptical but now I am believe
I have a friend who had a different pet insurance program and over heard them mention it when there pet was ill so I checked into their program and others online and Embrace seemed to be the best. I signed up. A few months later are little one got sick. Took him to the vets. I was not serious. I mentioned to the vet we had an insurance plan and he said they usually don't pay much. I was disheartened but summited the bills by fax. I was notified by email they got them and was processing. In less than a week I got an email with my refund amounts. I have to say I was happily surprised. Embrace covered everything they said they would. I don't get this good of service from my own health insurance program. I am happy we are covered by Embrace. I am going to recommend it to my family who have pets and everyone else I meet.
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
