Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Thank you Embrace! We were able to focus on caring for Riley before and after surgery and not have the worry of how we would pay for her splenectomy. Because we had the comfort of knowing Embrace was there we didn't have to factor money into the decision of removing her spleen/mass. It was an easy decision only based on how it would benefit her. No worries!

I filed for pre-certification in order to be aware of the cost of the procedure, I might as well have sat on my ass and not done anything because the explanation of benefits is bull. They write part of the instructions in the email and part in the Explanation of Benefits, so when you try to contest because the refund you received was not correct, they have the right to say, "Well we did inform you of everything in the e-mail". I feel robbed. I have been a customer for over 3 years and I cannot believe that this is how customers are treated. I have recommended Embrace for years to family and friends and even to the Vet because I was so happy with their service. After my awful experience I will not be doing so again.

With every claim that we have made, there has been some issue with the invoice or information that we have provided to Embrace. On every occasion, we have had to resend the same information to them several times. In one instance, they repeatedly requested health history for a period that was before my dog was born. I picked Embrace because of positive ratings on this site. They have utterly failed to live up to my expectations. My dog has been insured with them since the day that we got her (I actually began paying for the policy before we got her). I would not recommend this company!

Wellness claim, handled promptly and happy with the service.

I have two dachshunds, and for anyone that knows the breed, knows they come with a laundry list of ailments they're prone to. Although my boys have - few pre-existing conditions which are not covered(and I am fine with this because I knew it was the way of things before enrolled) I still have had not one problem getting our claims reimbursed. In fact, one of our dogs seems to have something every other month wrong with him, and we would not be able to keep up with the bills and the care for these guys without embrace. Aside from the claims, the customer service is out of this world, and communication is that of no other company I have encountered thus far. I was previously enrolled with another company who I always had issues with specifically in the claims department and I switched to embrace and have not been let down yet. I have even recommended embrace to other family members - Thanks for kicking butt embrace!!!
