Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Researched the 3 top pet insurance companies that were referred to me. Embrace seemed reasonably priced and I didn't feel confused by weird terms. They were great with reimbursing me for wellness although I maxed out after just two visits. (NYC vet prices are pretty high). I did have minor billing issue but their customer service department was very quick to respond and settled it immediately. So far so good.

My kitty was in a bad condition on Christmas Day (2013) and needed major surgery for bladder stones. Some people laugh at me when I tell them that I have pet insurance, but I am the one that is laughing last! I was with another pet insurance company prior to joining Embrace and let me just say that Embrace is FAR better. There are different tiers you can choose, but I chose the higher one with more coverage. Sure I pay more a month, but it worth it in the end, especially for surgeries, unexpected illness, or overall wellness care. His surgery cost over $5,000. Embraced reimbursed me for most of it!!!!!!!!!! Also my claims turn-a-round was fast. If you are currently shopping for pet insurance, I highly recommend Embrace!

We purchased Embrace for our 2 Irish Wolfhounds, and immediately had our yearly Wellness done. Embrace covered everything they said they would, kept me updated on the status of the claim and I already have the reimbursement check!

Thankfully I have not had to file a claim on many emergency issues, but I have used the Wellness plan now for 2 years on all 4 of my dogs and find it very fast in payment. We use up every penny of it each year on vaccinations, heart worm meds, and on routine blood work. The reimbursement is very fast, and with no issues.

I have submitted several claims with Embrace. After my deductible was fulfilled my claims were processed quickly and politely. My reimbursements came very quickly, and there was no haggling about the amounts, exactly what they promise in the coverage contract. Thanks to Embrace our dog is back to normal.
