We love embrace!

Embrace has been amazing. My dog has had a whole assortment of health problems this year and they are always quick to turn around my claims and they have not denied a claim yet. I have been so thankful that embrace was recommended to me; I would not have been able to afford these veterinary costs any other way.

Reimbursement seems fair. Expect your yearly premium to go up a lot as dog gets older.

Great customer service, quick and easy claims!

Our choc lab has allergies, and with that along with his regular visits, we've had a few claims to submit. The process is easy and convenient, and the turnaround is quick. I also love that customer service sends you status updates at each phase!

Waste of time and money!

Our puppy ended up contracting parvovirus. She recovered and we decided to get pet insurance. Almost a year later we found out she had kidney disease due to an infection. Embrace took over a month to process the claim only to find out that because she had vomited and had diarreah when she had parvo they would not cover her. They sated that vomiting and diarreah are symptoms of kidney disease. We had racked up 7k in bills before we even found out she was not covered.

Easy Claims Service

I purchased insurance from Embrace for my Labrador when she was a puppy and it was incredibly easy to get her covered. My dog has since developed bone cancer and Embrace has done an excellent job of fulfilling claims with no questions asked. We have had to bounce around between Veterinarians and Specialists and Embrace has still been able to quickly reimburse claims, provided we supply sufficient medical documentation. I have been getting a quick turn-around on claims reimbursement. Very happy with this service so far.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
