The Best Insurance for Your Dog

Embrace is the most efficient company I had ever had the pleasure to work with. If you love your animals this is the insurance to get. It is worth every penny. Their wellness program pays for it's self. Every claim I have submitted has been taken care of almost immediately. Their web service is the best. They keep you informed every step of the way. Great people, great company to work with. I would recommend Embrace to all animal owners.

Very Slow claim payments.

I felt there was very little explanation as to why something like hookworm was considered a pre-existing condition, and having a 12 month waiting period attached to that seems excessive. I have been waiting several weeks and not one reimbursement for my claims has been received.

Fantastic customer service

Embrace provides very quick service and wonderful detailed updates on your claims. It is very refreshing to not have to make phone calls to find out what is going on.

Great Service.

Fabulous Pet Insurance

With Embrace submitting a claim is easy. They email me when they receive it, when it's being processed and when it's been finalized. I love that they cover Wellness!!I've had other pet insurance but Embrace covers more and I get more reimbursed than other companies. I highly recommend Embrace.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
