Wonderful?

I love how easy it is to submit claims! And Embrace has faithfully assisted with every charge I have sent in. It makes for a very easy decision, to always give my pet the very best care, when I know I can depend on Embrace to help. Great insurance! I have 4 pets, all insured.

Lifesaving

We have 2 dogs .a brother and sister . We got them at at a shelter after in a timely manner our other beagle had to be put down. embrace offers so much wellness program which is great. it also gives you discounts on policy if your pet has a healthy year. claims are handle. After our last pets medical bills, getting pet insurance was the second thing we did when we got them home

Not good

Nice people but disagree with the decisions on my claim, my kitty had cancer was not eating and they said the loss of appetite was a preexisting condition because he had a loss of appetite prior. Loss of appetite is not condition that was a result of the condition and of course anytime animals or people get sick they have a loss of appetite.

Excellent Experience, Love Embrace!!

I have a brand new puppy, Cody. My vet suggested pet insurance, after doing some.research I found Embrace. They cover well visits, neutering and even a microchip. I went for Codys second wellness visit, totalling $186 on Monday July 7th, today July 14th My reimbursement is in my account via direct deposit!!! I sent one time, what was instructed on the forms and I already have my reimbursement back! Also upon signing up I had a few questions and the rep on the phone was exceptionally sweet! A+ from Cody and me!!

Disappointed with Embrace

I was told my NonPrescription enzymes would not be covered because the ingredients are regulated by the FDA - in fact the ingredients themselves are NOT regulated by the FDA - there are many digestive supplements not regulated by the FDA and EnzymeDiane is one that is NOT regulated. Amalyse and lipase themselves are not regulated as the adjuster said only prescription enzymes are regulated by FDA - because of Embrace's error on this I was forced to cancel my policy - will not recommend embrace pet insurance

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
