Awesomeness

First pet insurance claim I've ever filed and it seems to be handled smoothly and efficiently, even with the little hiccup on my part, the error was quickly found and simply explained and taken care of in seemingly one fell swoop. And in such a positive tone. I wish everything in my life ran so smoothly!You guys are great. Terrific company, terrific people. You set the bar high for customer service. All service companies should model after you.

Great insurance company

Embrace is great. Filing is very easy with a pre-filled form the vet submits. They send me emails with updates on the status of my claims and send me the check promptly. It is very comforting to know exactly what my dog's medical expenses will be for the year.

Am glad I have this wonderful protection

I am very happy with the way Embrace handles all claims I have submitted. Having a crazy 3 year old golden there is no telling what he will get into both at play and in training (agility). Embrace has given me peace of mind and quick turnarounds on the claims, Thank you for being there for my son :)

So far, so good!

When we adopted our new puppy I began to look into pet insurance. I had heard that they have gotten better at covering claims. During my search, Embrace came up time and again as a favorite. We just had the puppy spayed, and I submitted my claim under wellness and a few days later it was approved and a check is in the mail. The process was easy. Hoping that it continues.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
