Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

We recently adopted a rescued adult Saint Bernard. Unfortunately, we also adopted a slew of health problems. Now two surgeries, numerous visits for bandage changes/various tests, and now chemotherapy treatments later, I can't say how grateful we are to have Embrace! Yes, getting the initial claims approved was a hassle, requiring a couple of phone calls reiterating that our dog is a rescue, and that we had no prior medical history. But once that was cleared up, they have been PHENOMINAL, covering every claim super-fast.

Boxer (our Bull Terrier) broke a tooth playing tug-of-war which caused the pulp to be exposed. After the vet visit, we submitted our first claim to Embrace. Embrace claims representatives were helpful and responsive to all of our questions and/or concerns. We had a great initial experience and look forward to a lasting partnership with Embrace.

Greetings,We recently got pet insurance for our 10 year old Lab, Abigail. Only a few months after gaining insurance, we ran into some potential health problems that needed attention. We were initially disappointed to learn that a portion of the process would not be covered. Fortunately, we had the option to request another review of the claim and through an organized process, gained approval. The outcome confirmed that we will remain thankful and grateful for pet insurance for years to come.

In late 2014 I took Embrace Policies out on my two 7 year old pugs. Two months after taking out the policy my female developed diabetes and became 70% blind within a matter of days, and just recently had to have cataract surgery in both eyes. With Embrace the decision to provide a good quality of life for here was easy. The claims have been paid promptly relieving the financial stress.

I bought a policy in June 2014 and have only had to make claims for Wellness visits so far. My cat is 9 and incredibly healthy. I'm very pleased with the customer service and the easy to understand contract. The first wellness claim that I had (flea medicine) was in September 2014 and it took a WHILE to get that pushed through. They were working on bettering their systems, they told me. Last week (March) I submitted a second Wellness claim (for routine blood work) and the reimbursement was in my bank account in literally 4 days. I was completely shocked (in a good way)! I'm leaving a 10 star rating for now until I can give a more rounded review as things progress with the company. I'm very interested to see how much the annual premiums actually increase upon renewal and how easy it will be to submit and be reimbursed for accident or illness claims. I do expect the premium to rise, of course, and if it is not a ridiculous amount then not only will I keep my policy but I'll add my other cat (4 year old) on there too.
