Great service
I looked through many Pet insurance options and found Embrace to be one of the best. They have affordable rates, and if you have two pets on your insurance, you get a discount for the year. The staff is very friendly, and the process of putting through the claims is easy!

Highly Recommended
My 7 year old pit-bull had a splenic mass rupture requiring emergency surgery. I submitted a claim and within about a week got a check for 80% coverage (about $7000 total). Without Embrace I would have been paying this off for months (maybe years!). Absolutely wonderful service, great communication (I'm an email person, and they are quick to respond, which I really appreciate). Couldn't be more pleased.

If you love your dog, be a responsible human
I'm so thankful I bought pet insurance from Embrace. 2 years later Smokey darted into a street---w/ a speeding mini-bus. Smokey is OK, but extensive hip, ACL and MCL surgery. Serious work. Total bill $9.,500.
Unless you're flush w/ cash I think it's critical that people insure their checkbook against giant claims. Being stuck in the intersection of 'Credit limit/money & vet bill' is an awful place to be stuck. Some people had to make the horrible decision of putting their dog to sleep because they couldn't afford the bill. If your dog is old, it's a heart breaker, but if your dog is young and you have to make that choice it could screw you up for years. But a higher deductible plan, don't worry about having annual exams covered, pay less (higher deductible) and be comfortable if a WTF event happens. A high deductible plan is only 1/5 of your dog's monthly food bill. Do your self a favor, but the coverage. Embrace has been great, paid claims in a hurry.
Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
