Best Expenditure of Funds for My Dog
As a retired racing greyhound, I knew that Joey could be facing some joint issues in the future so I purchased insurance through Embrace. What I didn't know was that he would develop a seizure disorder that would require ongoing bloodwork and daily medication. Embrace makes it very easy to upload his vet receipts via their website, and they immediately began reimbursing me once his deductible was met. Great customer service, easy-to-use website and a love of animals. Love this company.

My dog is alive because of Embrace!
Never again will we be without pet insurance, and Embrace will be our company. We have 4 dachshunds, and we know historcally they have the potential for serious back problems. Since we have had dachshunds w/ back issues in the past, we decided to insure the younger 3, since they had no prior issues. Not three weeks after their orthopedic was cleared, our youngest ruptured a disc and had to have surgery. I don't know what decision we would have made w/o the insurance. Embrace saved our girl! I have been recommending Embrace to everyone I know.

Speedy reimbursement!
I am a new customer to Embrace. Part of my coverage includes the wellness policy which I immediately used for one of my dogs - Psych. He needed to get a dental and the wellness program resulted in the entire procedure being covered. More importantly, I submitted the wellness claim on Sunday night; Monday I received notification that it had been received and Tuesday morning I received notice it was approved and a check had been cut! Now that's fast! I wish my own insurance worked so quickly!. I am extremely happy with the insurance coverage and am glad I selected embrace - I even told my vet so they could spread the word to other clients!

Easy insurance: I highly recommend
They did exactly as promised. We spent ~9000 for our older dog who developed ITP and was in the emergency care. I submitted the claims and I got the 80% back: no mess, no fuss.

Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
