Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

After my boxer Lily was diagnosed and died from Lymphoma, I decided to get insurance from then on for any pet I owned. I did a lot of research and ultimately decided on Embrace as it had good reviews and it offered the most options in types of plans. When we got our new puppy in November, I had her on the insurance before we even got her. With a puppy you don't imagine you will have any problems until they are older. 5 months in and our puppy was diagnosed with renal dysplasia, a genetic condition. Embrace has been great with processing all of our claims and answered any questions we had. I have already told my vet to recommend them to anyone looking for insurance. My Embrace plan is helping to keep our puppy happy and healthy for as long as possible. Thank you!

Claim handled promptly and settled in accordance with the terms of the policy--can't ask for more than that.

I submitted a claim to include an accidental ingestion ( halloween candy ) and an ear infection. Trying to call Embrace resulted in 10-15 minute hold waiting for a representative to come on the line. ( they are clearly understaffed and the associate I spoke with indicated they are trying to hire people) My claim experience still has me looking for answers as to how this policy works. I am trying to find time in my busy day to call them and ask additional questions. They may be an ok company to do business with but if you cannot reach them on the phone what good are they ?

Paul and I cannot adequately express our gratitude to the staff of Embrace Pet Insurance. We started a policy for our cat, Watson. Embrace is the only pet insurance plan we would recommend and here's why:1) Affordable pet insurance coverage that include Wellness Coverage that reimburses pet parents for wellness exams. 2) Easy and fast claim response (in most cases, less than 7 days) 3) Friendly and knowledgeable customer care representatives who REALLY care about you and your pet. 4) A user-friendly website that allows you to log in and see your claim information, payments, upload claim information and everything else regarding your policy. And most of all, when we had to make the difficult decision to euthanize Watson due to an unexpected complication from an illness, Embrace Pet Insurance was there for us in ways that we could never contemplate. They're not just an insurance company; they're a "caring" company that took the time to send us condolence cards personally signed by the "embracers" of the customer care team. They felt our loss and our pain and when Watson's final claims were submitted to them for review, many of the claims were paid in less than a week and the check was in the mail. They conveyed to us their sorrow as well for the loss of our beloved Watson. Their gesture of condolence and sympathy meant alot to us as we were grieving and bereaving and we will never forget the kindness that was shown to us during a very difficult time. It is because of everything they did and continue to do that we highly recommend Embrace Pet Insurance. I hope that when people read our review of this extraordinary company; they will choose Embrace Pet Insurance for their "pet baby". If the "gold standard" is viewed as an acceptable standard to many people, then we would say that Embtace Pet Insurance and their dedicated "embracers" would be defined as the "Platinum Standard". Although we are still grieving the loss of our beloved Watson, when we feel it is the right time to adopt a cat once again, we will definitely choose Embrace Pet Insurance as the "must have" insurance for our new baby. We are very pleased with the prompt service rendered by Embrace. Our dog Rocco suffers from diabetes, we have had multiple claims submitted to Embrace for reimbursement. Our claims have been paid in a very timely manner. I have no complaints about the way our claims have been handled by Embrace. I can truly say that Embrace staff in all areas (i.e. customer service) have handled our claims in a very expedient manner.
