Great Decision
I have a 4 year old English Bulldog who I got Embrace for when he was a puppy. So Happy I did. After a summer of testing and steroids we found out he is Extremely allergic to dust. He has been on a very expensive allergy med for 2 years now and Embrace covered testing, meds and visits at 80%. He was also attacked by a dog and needed emergency surgery with a bill of < $2,000, embrace also covered the ER visit, surgery and meds at 80%. We are in the vet often with normal Bulldog issues and so happy I purchased this insurance for him.

Lifesaver
Our lab was near death after eating a cloth toy that shredded into string and wrapped around his intestines. Emergency surgery was needed and Embrace was on the spot with immediate information, customer service and medical costs reimbursement. This past November our lab tore ligaments in both knees, more surgery required. From the first customer service call to Embrace to the claims process to reimbursement, a smooth transaction. The staff is terrific. I've owned three dogs before this one and this is the first time I bought pet insurance. If you are looking for pet insurance, look no further. Embrace, the best.
Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
