Very easy and efficient!

I'm very pleased with this company. They are really easy to reach, everyone is friendly and helpful, and you actually get back what they promise. I received my first claim benefit and it was 80% back and it was filed efficiently. I would recommend!

They look for any reason to deny coverage.

I can no longer recommend embrace. My dog had an allergy like cough over the summer prior to getting coverage. The vet said to try Benadryl and it helped! Months after purchasing coverage, she started collapsing. It was due to pulmonary hypertension and secondary heart enlargement. Initially, embrace was covering the claims, and then suddenly decided that since a symptom of pulmonary hypertension is a cough (which in her case is a completely different cough that allergy medications haven't helped with), they will no longer cover her costly monthly medications or any of the veterinary visits related to either the hypertension or her heart. They look for any way to link conditions and I had visits and procedures done after they told me I was covered for this. Now I'm left in debt with no coverage....I can no longer recommend embrace. If your pet is young and has virtually no issues besides wellness is the only circumstance in which I'd ever purchase their coverage again!

Having the best insurance

It always feel so good to have Embrace Insurance as I can get my dog the best of treatments with out making life saving decisions due to financial issues. This is the second dog I have covered. Unfortunately I had to put my last dog down at 6 years old because of cancer. We were able to have every pertinent test run to make sure that it was the right decision because of the financial security that Embrace provides. They were all so kind to send donations in our last dog's name and they send us many sympathy cards. Such personal touches.

So far, wonderful!

I had a puppy who came down with meningitis along with having a cherry eye. He's had multiple treatments and surgeries, and it took a long time to diagnose, but Embrace covered everything and sent out reimbursements in short order.

Surgery

So glad I had Embrace when the unexpected happened. My dog had to have surgery. They made the process easy. Every pet owner should have this insurance!

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
