Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Like many, I was skeptical of pet insurance. Everything I read online seemed to be negative and complained of low/no payouts, companies looking for any way to deny claims, etc. However, I knew that I wanted to have some safeguard in place in case of a worst case scenario. I don't remember why I chose Embrace...probably gave me the best quote at the time. I do know that I scoured the fine print in my policy. This is so important to do, so there will be no surprises when you file claims. From everything I read (over and over) there didn't seem to be any reason my claims would not be covered. And then that worst case scenario I alluded to above happened. My St. Bernard was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in January. It is a very aggressive bone cancer. I was shocked to get the news, as he had been in great health until then, and is only 7 years old. My vet laid out our treatment options. We opted for radiation and chemotherapy. Embrace has covered 90% of EVERYTHING I have submitted (thousands of dollars). It has been such a great experience. Covering these extremely pricey treatments helps alleviate the stress of my dog going through this. I can't sing Embrace's praises enough. If I hadn't signed up through them when I did, there is no way we would have been able to afford these treatments.

No issues, submitting a claim is pretty easy once you figure out the download process. It takes a little while to be processed and then it's a mailed check, but that was made pretty clear when signing up. Inquiries are answered by actual people, who even mention things like "hope (name of pet) is feeling better". Even a "Get Well" email,..nice touch. Pretty reasonable.

I am so happy I picked Embrace for my insurance. Everything is easy to get reimbursed. I have always feared dealing with insurance companies. Most of the time they put you through so many steps. They make my busy life easy.
