Smart decision to go with this company!
I enrolled my young dog with Embrace early this year after a friend recommended the company both for the reasonable cost of insurance and the easy-to-deal with staff. I thought coverage would provide some protection against potential costly problems in my girl's later years. Imagine my shock when she became injured and needed expensive surgery and treatment!
This company couldn't have been more responsive and the staff is awesome--nice to deal with, clear, and as helpful as they can be. Claims are easy to file; staff reviews claims within a specified time period; and payment is provided quickly and directly to your account if you request it. I am so happy I chose Embrace. Dealing with ill or injured pets is a nightmare; having help with the high cost of veterinary care eases some of that pain.

Great customer service and support
We have had our dog insured for a year and she recently tore both ACL's. As you can imagine, this is a huge financial burden. From day one we have been impressed with the empathy and efficiency of Embrace. We have been treated with care and kindness and the process was timely and efficient. I'm very grateful!

Embrace has been a wonderful company to work with. Everything is worked out quickly and the staff is all very knowledgeable. Having the insurance has saved our skin many times. Having owned several animals in my life, I have never insured them. So glad I decided to get a policy through Embrace on my cat. She is very important to me and this ordeal has been emotionally stressful. At least I didn't have to worry about the financial aspects as Embrace reimbursed me in a timely manner. Thank you
Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
