A lifesaver!

I am so glad that I signed Sam up for Embrace pet insurance after I rescued him many years ago. In the past year, he has developed leaky valves, heart murmur, squamous cell carcinoma, and failing hips/back legs. Embrace has been there and supported him and me through everything! One of the best investments I have ever made!

Peace of mind

Embrace gives me peace of mind for when my pug Piper needs care. I have the wellness package and feel confident that my little girl will have the routine care she needs. I also know that should an illness or accident occur she will be covered, too. Dental care, while so very expensive in Connecticut, is also covered by Embrace. Embrace Insurance is there for me and for Piper.

Everything is covered!! No hassle insurance company!!

Embrace is an excellent insurance company! We rest easy knowing our boy is taken care of. He broke his foot recently and Embrace took care of everything! Thank you for putting my mind at ease!

Excellent

Always there for us. Always willing to help. Have had them for 14 years. Will use them again. When my boy started having problems and got worse and bills mounted they covered. Unfortunately my boy didn't get better and they made a very sad time a little easier with no hassles. Thank you embrace!

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
