Great Pet Insurance

So pleased with USAA Embrace Pet Insurance! I have a 3 month old puppy and the first few claims were processed so quickly and direct deposit showed up right away! Easy online submission of claims and great customer service!

Writing a claim to Embrace Pet Insurance is Easy

What I love about Embrace Pet Insurance while setting up a claim is they most of the time know the providers in your area. You just have to pick them out of the list. Then you just have to download your bills for that day, choose the pet it is for and you are finished. One date at a time, so there is no confusion. Then you wait till they evaluate the claim and tell you what is cover or excluded.

Embrace equals peace of mind…

I have been with Embrace for many years with many dogs. Mostly multiple dogs at once. I've tried other pet insurances but none could come even close to Embrace. The process claims so quickly and are there when I need them. Tailor the policy to suit your budget makes it affordable. I love Embrace. Never and issue. Its so comforting knowing they are there and I can help my dogs when they need it.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
